It's recommended if you like to hear Hebrew songs sung with an American accent. But some of the arrangements are quite nice, especially the one of Erik Friedlander, Elysian Fields,Uri Caine/Ben Perowsky and Mark Feldman. Contrary to what is written in the liner notes, Sasha Argov did not write any of the lyrics to the songs. Hello, A few moons ago, I listened to the Zorn Radio hour and I always remembered a piece by T.K. Ramamurthi playing Indian Karnatic Jazz . Does anyone know if this album ever been reissued? If not did anyone transfer this gem to a digital format? Thanks Victor

Some chimpanzees organise themselves into small armies and go to war against other chimps. But then some think they (and other great apes) should be afforded full human rights, because we are all so similar genetically. And humans aren't the only artistic animals either. Has anyone heard the Thai Elephant Orchestra? It's good stuff. Hi, There's a new Zorn disc comming out in April and it "takes virtuosity to another level", but that's not surprising since it's performed by "a hand-picked ensemble of the best musicians in contemporary music."
