Hi Rick, Thanks for the reply. I would really enjoy to sail with you folks again, there will be another trip for me to the North Channel down the road. I have looked at the charts of that island group north of Little Current. Great choice.For those of you who have little knowledge of that prime area, the NC of Lake Huron is an incredibly pristine, stunningly beautiful, island-bay body of water in southern Ontario. a sailor could explore the NC, and Georgian Bay for years and not see all of it. There are few people and limitless areas to gunkhole, much like the huge Lake of the Woods. I think it may be the finest sailing area I have ever seen. I'd like to leave now, just thinking about it. North Channel Cruise

Hey Bones, Too bad you can't make it, we had a great cruise last time. You'll be missed. At one point the Admiral was thinking of coming on this cruise, but between getting a new boat and driving 6000 miles he decided to cruise on the west coast this year. There will be more opportunities for cruising the NC. I've been checking out some guides and charts and just north of Little Current there's the Bay of Islands with hundreds of islands to explore. This is an area that we didn't even get close to last time and it seems like we could spend the entire two weeks in this bay. Jib sheets

I was just looking at the cover of the May Sail magazine, a fleet of boats racing toward Golden Gate Bridge. At the clew of the jib of the boat in the foreground there is what looks like a small (6"-8") loop of cable through the grommet along with the jib sheets. Does anyone know what that loop is for? I thought maybe to keep jib sheets from hanging up on the mast, like mine do, of perhaps an easy way to attach a whisker pole? M15 #200, Wee Fun Kevin

Trailer inspection costs

Well two boats and two trailer inspections that I needed to deal with to get registered in the state of Maryland. A clean Title if you're buying a boat and trailer that needs to be titled in your state is imperative. Watch out for costs related to getting a used trailer inspected. Stan took very good care of his trailer yet I needed one new tire which forced me to buy a second one to match the new one and my great state requires Three yellow lights on the center rear of the trailer (go figure) and with these changes plus inspection it all adds up. What I did do which was an added safety for me anyway was have the inspector add a Second pin on the tongue extension to back up the first one. Have a great weekend everybody. Another Wrinkle will be out sailing soon. You hear that Dr Judy B who has some new sails on order for me.
