Missing -Stolen 1981 British Seagull outboard motor stolen from 154th Avenue and Briles in Phoenix/ Peoria, Arizona area. Model number -EFNRL 222JI This is a Model 110 with long range tank, recoil starter Long shaft. Yes it is a big ol GOOFY looking motor - but it will push the Mississippi back to Minnesota! The moter may have been sold in the Phoenix Area. Please e-mail me if you know of any information as to the whereabouts of this motor. Reward offered if recovered. Hi Arnold, I've used a CDI furler on my M17 for several years and wouldn't be without it. It adds a couple minutes work at launch and take-down is all. I leave the sail (a 150 genoa) furled around the foil, slide a custom made sleeve over it for trailering, and strap it all to the mast for trailering. The CDI furler uses it's own internal halyard, which leaves your original halyard available for hoisting a free flying drifter. Or the hanks on your drifter can be modified to use loops with wooden beads which loop around the furled headsail and ride up and down it as you raise and lower the sail. Frank, No, but thanks for asking. I don't know what the story is with this other M-17 that should have been delivered last month along with replacement cushions. I offered to pay the shipping charges for their delivery to me, but Bob is adamant about sending them along with this boat. I am still waiting. Bones, We self launch the 23 all the time as long as the ramp is fairly steep and concrete or paved with good traction. Wouldn't try it in the dirt. We have an 11 foot tongue extension that allows us to get her back into the water without drowning the tow vehicle. Not sure about the other 23's. We'd be game for either lake. Just the idea of getting together with a bunch of other Monty crews is enough to draw us in! What time of year are we talking about? Sorry to ask a 'dumb' technical question - my boat is not here at the moment. Does anyone know the size tubing used on the early model cockpit drain from the cockpit sole to the thru-hull pipe? Maybe I should go look in the MSOG technical section for repairs - I seem to remember someone replacing the pipe thru hulls............. Trailing off into the sunset -albeit a BEAUTFUL one............
