Hi Bert, Ironically, I was thinking of the "unmentionable" on the drive back from my boat today. It doesn't quite answer your question, but what about using a 3 gallon bucket (from Home Depot) with comfy seat attached & bio-disposable bags? If you are sailing out in the "wild blue," include a 2 lb. rock to the mixing and let 'er fly (I did say it was "unmentionable")! Your "Unmentionable" neighbor located a few docks down. Another M23 in the northwest? Great! We have the potential for 6 or more showing up for the next San Juan rendezvous. In fact, if everyone came that has expressed interest in the past, we'd have over 30 boats! Wouldn't that be something to see! Sailing in Arizona this winter is real tempting, but that's a long drive (as you well know). Not as bad as the 1500 miles it would take to join Bones on Lake of the Woods next summer, though. I looked at that lake on Google Earth. Wow! That looks like an area you could sail your whole life and still find new places to visit. Yeah, but Bill S., the problem with those 20 foot + boats is that they are not easily trailerable. I've got the money for a marina slot, but I'm cheap. I toyed with the idea of getting an Ultimate 20 -- light, fast, good interior for weekending -- but reading that it was a 45 minute process to rig it quickly disabused me of that notion. J-Boats needs to make an 18 foot trailerable; I vote for a mini J-22. Until then, I'm happy with my M-15 (15-20 minutes to rig, and no excitement raising and lowering the mast). GULP!!!! I got the same info Larry but have been to lazy to post it. Sure would be a nice set-up but holly cow that's a lot of money! Hey are you gonna load up that Corndog and come see us this winter...say in Feb!!!??? It's not that bad of a drive........really! ;-) On another note....get ready to see another M23 up in your neck of the woods 'cause a little bird told me that the (former) Tucson 23 is sold and coming up to WA. New M-15 owner

Hello! I am now the proud owner of a 1981 (#163) M-15, purchased from a fine fellow and sailor, David Wood of Ashland, OR. David has certainly set me up for sailing success, as he not only patiently explained the ins and outs of M-15 rigging and launching but also did a beautiful job of restoring/maintaining my 'new' boat. I took her out for my initial sail in Holmes Harbor here on Whidbey Island (approx. 45 miles NW of Seattle) last Friday. What a treat! I look forward to learning from all of you, re M-15 features/ capabilities and sailing/cruising tips. Cheers! —Steve on Whidbey

Ron, I think I have some mugs left. Email me off-list if you'd like one. I won't be printing up any more of the mugs so when the last ones are gone that'll be the end of them. They turned out to be difficult to ship and in order to get the best price I had to deal with an out-of-town manufacturer which was a real pain. When I printed up the Monty T's, sweats, and had the Monty ball caps embroidered, I utilized a local shop here. That allowed me to go right to them to answer questions, or deal with any issues that came up. David did the artwork for me and I printed up a bunch of t-shirts and sweatshirts about a year ago. The t-shirts, sweatshirts, and zip-up hooded sweatshirts presented more difficulty in ordering because of the potential to need various sizes in each one. What we did was we had a period of 3 weeks that you could order whatever you wanted in your specific size and send in a pre-payment including shipping. At the end of the three weeks I cashed all the checks I had received and went to the t-shirt shop with the order, had them printed and then sent them out. I ordered a few extras which have been "sold out" for quite a while. I wouldn't have a problem doing a second run if there was enough interest, as the silk screens are there ready to go. It's just not cost effective printing only a couple of items at a time. In order to get the costs inline we really need to have a minimum of 25 items printed, more would be better. So... I guess it's up to you Monty people out there. Is there any interest in doing another run of shirts or hats?? If so, let me know. If I get enough response to indicate that we can generate and order of over 25 items (sweatshirts,shirts, or zip-up hooded sweatshirts combined) we'll do it all over again. I have re-posted the pages displaying the mugs, hats, and t's to my site if you want to check them out.
