My rankings: Solid Pleasure - 10 Claro Que Si - 10 You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess - 10 Stella - 10 The New Mix In One Go - 10 One Second - 10 Flag - 10 Baby - 10 Essential - 8 Zebra - 10 Hands On Yello - 5 Pocket Universe - 10 Excentrix Remixes - 5 Motion Picture - 10 I make no apologies for those! I marked 'Essential' down because they were edits for no reason, apart from perhaps they were singles, so maybe I was harsh. Each album has its own character. Remixes do seem to miss the soul of Yello. I got into Yello when the first album was released. I was already into the Tangerine Dream / Klaus Schulze / Jean Michel Jarre sort of sound, and I heard "Blue Green" on the radio. I bought the album, and collected and listened and loved ever since. Hello all! I have now added fixed (or what you may call it) all the ratings, thank you very much! Here are the different CD ratings: Solid Pleasure - 7,6 Claro Que Si - 7,3 You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess - 7,4 Stella - 8,5 The New Mix in One Go - 8,4 One Second - 8,8 Flag - 7,4 Baby - 7,2 Essential - 7,3 Zebra - 6,7 Hands On Yello - 5,4 Pocket Universe - 7,3 Eccentrix Remixes - 5,25 Motion Picture - 7,8 One Second wins and Eccentrix loses! About remixes, I think that in fact, Hands On Yello is a good album. But if Yello is coming with newer remixes albums, they (or Boris) should do the remixing themeselves (or himself). Let's look at Eccentrix for a start: The Race is good and made by Yello, the How How mixes are just some piece of crap and made by Plutone (wasn't it? - please tell me if I am wrong), the More mix is also good and made by Yello, Topaz is very good and made by Yello, On Track is the best song on the CD, but I don't know if it's made by Yello or Doug Laurent (could someone tell me?), Vicious Games is ok and made by Boris Blank and this Wollschlager guy, Rubberbandman, She's Got a Gun and To The Sea are all good and mady by Yello. This is at least my opinion. Yello has in fact included all music genres in their albums and songs. The only genre they're missing is rock. I wonder how a The Race or Oh Yeah would have been in a rock version? TheWarlock

Hello all! I have opened a chatplace called Yello Chat. I thought some of you might want to check it out: http://www.seste.net/warlock/spinchat.html When you enter the chat place (don't expect to find lots other persons), enter your name where you usually type the message. The name have to be something wierd, unfortuneatly, like "dfhgjsll" or "wierdname" or something that's not so common. John does not work. I'll be on the chatplace from time to time. Thank you everyone for your ratings. If you wish, you should able to see the ratings at my page today. One of you asked if I picked up Yello in 1987-88. Weel actually I first heard The Race in 1996, and then I became a real Yello fan last year. One of you also asked why amny people doesn't like Pocket Universe. My opinion of that is that it takes some time to get used to. The first song I liked on the album was Resistor and Beyond Mirros, and then I started to like the other songs when I had heard them a couple of times. I did an error on my rating of the CDs. I would rate Pocket Universe 8, I don't understand why I rated it 6. TheWarlock

I found an old videotape recorded in 1992 with a program from the UK called ITV Chart Show. It showed Jungle Bill video, and a couple of 'gossip' captions had the following: (each video shown has similar captions) "Dieter is an avid Marilyn Monroe fan and has just completed a film about her life, which includes some previously unseen footage." "Dieters main hobby is collecting shoes and ties from all over the world. He has 600 pairs of shoes and over 1000 ties." I have no idea where they get their information from, but I just wanted to share it with you. Hello all! In a later message, I mentioned that Yello is coming with a CD later this year. You don't know more specificly when it is going to be released? And I didn't know that Dieter is a director! And a last question. Do you know where I can get some of Yello's older music videos for free?
