Copy control in the CDs?

Hello. Are there the annoying copy control system on the Eye CDs? That system which says that the CD cannot be played in CDROM device? Hey! If you test the CDs in CDROM device, take away the autoinsert notification from the CDROM driver properties page. That is because I have heard of the case where the CD installed something to the computer without asking owner's permission!! After then he could play the compressed audio files which were also in the CD, but he could not anymore copy any other CDs to computer. (Publisher purposedly damaged the computer?!) It means you have to re-install MS Windows if you plan to convert your other audio CDs to mp3 (say). Best regards, Juhana

A "standard" and a limmited edition, which i have ordered. like the lp single i bought freight realy stunk, but thankfully this time no minimum order. Total cost of EUR 44.99 (A$73 odd) if enyone knows where the cd maxi can be got i'd be most greatful. I feel like spending another 70 odd to get that as well ;) we fans do a lot dont we. shaun

Claro Qu Si-What Color is Yellow?

Hello All This 'Claro Qu Si' is buggin me. I managed to buy a copy of the US Yellow Cover and its Orange as I have since seen your cover also Jonathon. Anyway you see that the cover is different from the Yellow colored cover jpeg on your site also. So where is this 'YELLOW' colored cover from?????? I have just bought another copy-waiting for it to arrive and see what color. Its also a first release hard cardboard. I purposely didn't ask what color it is as it'll be a surprise. I have got some other great items-Capri Calling-Japan Only 3" Im also waiting on a copy of 'Night Flanger'-not really sure what version? There some other beauties also that I'll share some pics etc soon. Have some other nice items on order and in the post. Can't wait for a copy of 'the eye'. I've done a little mix from the cuts that were available. Its sound shit. I have some more work to do as usual. :-( It may be a little while, but it will happen. See there's a nice promo available at eil. Check it out, those who have some money will want it. Go now!!! What about the Snowball promo-I guess no one is that lucky to have that kind of money to spend on a cd? Lets hope its re-listed at $1. :-) Keep up the great work Jonathon-you are an inspiration. Yeah, i got my copy of the soundtrack today. I contacted some people in Germany and they send an info to a guy in Switzerland. He contacted me and asked if i really would have this CD, and he want to buy it for me. But he send me also an link for Amazon Germany, there was an offer in the Amazon-Z-shops. And now i ordered it. But today i saw that you can buy it directly from Amazon. Its in stock. The Eye Logo Printed

Hi All, I know many of you wouldn't mind to have a one square meter print of the The Eye logo, but I'm afraid I cannot provide in such. Making prints like this is one part of my job, and a commercial product of the company. I'm dealing with copyright issues every day, If I or the company are going to produce more posters like this and sell (or give them away) even if only to members of this list, I'll risk a law suit by Yello. Copy rights... I can't take the risk. There are many ways to by-pass legal issues like that, but I wont go into that. Well I have managed to get my hands on Yello - The Eye CD having listened to some of the snippets before hand, I can highly recommend buying this CD as the short 30 second samples heard already give nothing away at all really of how the whole tracks sound which surprised me, as there were lot's of surprises on this album . The tracks are really multilayered and Jade Davies voice really does sound like Billy Mackenzie in places whether this is intentional or purely accidental is not bad thing, it gives Yello's songs that extra edge Nervous, Junior B are my favourite tracks, Junior B takes me back to that 'Fat Cry/drive/driven' type filmic songs with pulsing bass , the cinematic choir pads, with echo guitars are also back, after missing on motion picture and pocket universe I would say this is more of a song album, than experimental journey into space like the last 2. Which is when I like Yello at their best, combining inovation with film song structure. Tiger Dust is the most fun Yello song for years, it is so funky and exciting, I don't wish to make comparisons much with past albums because what Yello do best is come up with something new everytime, if you enjoyed bubbling under you will adore Tiger Dust. "Feelin like I do I feel very very High a booola boola boola" Hipster's Delay is just begging to be in a spy movie, or French car advert , the one thing that struck me with this album was , where on earth does Boris get these sounds from, they are unlike anything you will ever hear anywhere else, completely new and surprising, stuttering and exploding, panning left to right, and back again, echoing into the distance, then bouncing back at you. Magic. Time Palace and Unreal are lush , moving songs soaked in reverb the bass on Unreal is well... Unreal! it hooks you in on a hypnotic journey This album has something for everyone, Film music, bongo's , electronic dance, rio carnival, trumpets but where's the sax? ;o) 9/10 Daniel B
