Hi all This has nothing to do with Yello, but I think I should share this great thing with the rest of you. Fluke, a british group from 1993 (and who remixed How How), came with a new album this summer. It is called Puppy and is GREAT! Those of you who know Fluke, will not be dissappointed. I strongly recommend that the others of you, not so familiar with them, check them out. Fluke's earlier music is also worth a listen. I like their music by the same reason that I like Yello, that's why I tell this to you :-) Cheers Chris

On 'The Eye' premiere site, it mentions something about 'Yello's private collection'. Unfortunately, I don't know any German, but Jonas has also mentioned on his last post to the Yahoo News Group, that they played previously un-released Yello music at the premiere. Are there any German speaking members on this list who can confirm this? (From the site it says: "..der mit Boris Blank an "The Eye" gearbeitet hat, wird YELLO's Private Collection von z.T. unveröffentlichte Material auflegen") Is this music some the same special music Boris keeps in his Zurich vault? Who knows? One day they may release all Boris' unreleased stuff. (We can only dream!) It also mentions (again, I think), that they played Tomcraft's remix of "The Race"....that must have been the only downer of the evening (!) then... Not sure what's wrong with Boris in that photo Chris - IMO he looks plain drunk - but still upset(?). I cannot help feeling a tad guilty/sad for not making the effort to go the premiere in Zurich. After all, I am a huge Yello fan, have been for years and I think Boris Blank is a musical genius,- and this was one massive opportunity passed up - and it wouldn't have been a huge effort to book the tickets online and fly to Zurich would it now? What *really* gets me is the fact there were gorgeous women wearing 'The Eye' T-Shirts *and* giving out what looked like free promo CDs of the Eye. The Divine intergalactical bassdrum

[Y/H]ello! Remember at the beginning of pocket universe, the mention of a "divine intergalactical bassdrum"? Well, such a thing seems to exist: (from an article in Sueddeutsche Zeitung, September 16, page 11) After 53 hours of looking at the Perseus Galaxy heap, 250 million lightyears away, Chandra, a satellite perceptive to X-Rays brought forth pictures of srangely concentric circular structures. Through an analysis the English and American astronomers found out that these were in fact gigantic sound waves transported through the media of hot gases between the stars with the frequency of the tone 'b', 53 octaves below the base octave though, thus the deepest sound ever "heard" in the universe from our piece of solar driftwood.
