Before I knew what babelfish was (1 minute ago) I was going to say that this translation looks like it was done by a machine. To the reading of it has a funny effect on the eye how sees it. Q: Best Yello for house fans

Hello everyone, I love all of Yello's music, and I don't really think that it fits into any single category. When I listen to their albums, I tend not to think of styles (or even song titles). However: If you had a friend who is a big fan of house music (and music in general, of course), what would be the best Yello album to be their introduction to Yello? At the moment, my hunch is that Zebra might be the best starting point. But some of my favorite songs are on Flag and One Second. Baby seems to be my favorite "album." Pocket Universe gets a little too weird at times. Now that I think about it, Motion Picture might be another contender for a good album for house fans. What do you folks think? Obviously, after hearing the first Yello album, a new fan is probably going to want to hear everything - but that takes hours and hours! I just want to pick a good first CD. Later, Brian

What I meant to say was I'll have to get out there and hear some House Music so I can compare it to Yello and see how the answers to Brian's original question match up. I would have suggested "The New Mix In One Go" or "Essential" for their good cross-section of earlier Yello material. Amnesty Picture Disc

Hi, I was lucky to find this 7inch picture disc at the Music Fair in Glasgow 19. October 2003. The Dealer told me it is the one and only Test Pressing of this single. The single itself was probably pressed in a ltd edition of about 10. At least that's as much as I found out about other Amnesty Picture Discs. The Eye Limited?

See eil.com as they have also apparently already sold a copy of a CD-R promo of 'The Eye' Who bought that hey????? I have also ordered a limited edition only; if it's not a limited edition I'll end up with what I want anyway. Thanks for the link Shaun. There's a few CD maxi single popping up on EBay and in most record shops. The anticipation of the new cd is building. Hey Jonathan You have taken down that Yellow JPEG from your wanted page? Is that because you now also believe it to be a fake? Sorry if this 'Yellow cover' issue is getting boring, but its still unresolved in my tiny little brain. PaulO

In the iTunes Music store it states Boris and Dieters birthdays are: Dieter: 4 March 1945 Boris: 2 October 1938 I don't remember when Dieters Bday was but I thought Boris bday was in January. Is this correct? jul
