It would be nice to be able to provide useful hypothesis,
but here in the musical Gulag we're lucky to hear even
oldies from The The, let alone Yello. Although a local
radio station does use music from "The Race" as an intro
to one of its daily features...
I even wonder if we'll see the new album here in the
mainstream stores.

My name's not Jonas but I hope that doesn't disqualify me from adding to
the discussion! :-P
I was thinking about what tracks would be on the new album. The possible
tracks I have so far are:
- "Breath" (instrumental) (from the compilation "La Planète Bleu, Vol 2")
- "Future Past" (the single that Hakan Lidbo is producing)
- "?" (from the DVD compilation "Loud and Clear" - does anyone know what
the name of the track was - assuming it had one!)
Presumably it will also include the three instrumental tracks from the
recent movie soundtrack ("Egun Boogey", "Joy Ride", "King's Dance")
Anyone have any other possible contenders for the album, or other comments?
Mark

Laurence Scarman: I see.
Doctor: I'm sure you don't but it's very nice of you to try.

Hmmm. Jonas seems to be a popular name for being a Yello fan... ;-)
I only noticed it today, but it's GOT to be a conspiracy.
Looking forward to sampling and adding to the FTP server, but patiently.
Aber, hoffentlich kommt Es bald an.

I haven't forgot about the FTP server. All of the bugs are being worked out
and the User Agreement is being completed.
Believe me, I do want to get this up and running ASAP, but it's the server
that is giving me some issues I have to work out first. It's gotta be rock
solid and secure before I can give you all access to it.

Well I'm still here, but haven't contributed much. I was hoping to find out
more about the FTP server that was discussed. But I seem to be
subscribed to two groups. On my Yahoo list last week I received this...
Hello, I got some news updates today from yello Office:
the planned release for the LP is now "Summer 2003".
The title will be "THE EYE" and it will have 14 tracks.
Universal (Yello's record company) have many artists
and that is the main reason why the final release date is not
set yet.
I was also told that the French label Pschent (www.pschent.com)
will soon release "La Planète Bleu, Vol. 2", compiled by Yves Blanc
(www.planet-express.com) with the instrumental track "Breath"
taken from Yello's forthcoming LP.
This is all I know for now.
