Yello lives are so very interesting, since they are so rare... The "official" live performances by Yello are: -Live At The Roxy (1983) -She's Got A Gun (Live At The Palladium NY - 1985) -Santiago (Live At The Palladium NY - 1985) -Resistor (Live At MayDay - 1995) Interesting with those earlier lives that you mentioned, Rene. A pity that Yello wont release their all of their lives. Mayday for an example may have been up to an hour long. I have checked many other live performances at Mayday and they last for QUITE a long time. By the way, for you who want music at almost the same quality as Yello's, you should check out Fluke (who did the How How mixes). Chris "Time is almost freezing, time is standing still..."

The Live at the Roxy album I have in a small safe.. :-), has only a recording on one side, the other side has grooves but is empty. > *That* explains why I couldn't recall the cut on the second side!

So the concert Live at the Roxy must have been a once-off deal. I've got that album and remember hearing the cheering crowds and wondering when I'd get my chance to see them. I wonder if the whole concert is captured on the two sides of my EP. It's only about 36 minutes total for both sides. A concert tour would definitely have to be a big-market city like New York, London. If Boris and Dieter were ever to plan a concert again it wouldn't be worth the preparation to take the show to a smaller city. Yes, Rene, seems like that could be the reason, at least I agree with you....ofcourse Yello/Boris could, like other techno bands, have recorded the music before performing live and then just "pretended" as he was playing it. Yeah, same here (Vancouver). If it's just one purchase at high prices to *complete* the collection, then I'd go for it. But a steady diet of thrice the price wears thin mighty quick. Hi all There might also be a possibility (surprisingly ;-) that one of the songs will be called "The Eye". Although Yello has only once used the same name for an album and a song. I'm continously checking the official Yello page, but it has still not been updated :-( On this matter, I wish Yello would care more about their fans...
