Very nice Patrick! Amazing, the kinds of images you've managed to capture in the time it takes to boil an egg... ;o) I've got a picture on my desk at work of M51 that a friend of mine (Neal Williams of Alpine) took back in '93 on hypered film in a 90-minute exposure thru a 10-inch; the image quality is still not as good as what you took in 1/30th the time. Yep that sounds like it. I just managed to miss part 2. Drat! I do seem to remember some followup news coverage that indicated it was likely the hatch blew by itself, just as Grissom had said. >As I recall this WAS a two part program.
