September 1998 issue of Debug magazine featured an interview with
Komputer, in which they talked about Kraftwerk: "Why is Komputer spelled
with a K? A homage to Kraftwerk? 'It simply looks nicer', says David. [...]
'It has nothing to do with Kraftwerk. We don't copy them, they're too lazy.
One album in ten years is indiscutable. But maybe we're working on a similar
idea.' [...]".

By doing assertations as Komputer did and then saying that they didn't name
Kraftwerk as their main influence just because they were being ironic is
only to make themselves scarce, in my opinion, of course. Moreover, that
doesn't exclude themselves for being a plagiarism.

IIRC, David Wilson-Baker and Simon Leonard formed Fortran 5 and I Start
Counting bands previously to Komputer.
