Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me which KLF releases originally came with stickers on the sleeve, and which didn't. (It seems to have a big bearing on the price of records on ebay!) >From my collection (and ones I've seen but don't own) I can think of the following: Doctorin' in the Tardis (TVT issue 3" CD) sticker on long box Gary in the Tardis (KLF 3R) blue cover sticker and inner sleeve sicker Kylie Said to Jason (KLF010P) "with free poster" sticker The What Time is Love Story (JAMSLP4) "Now That's What I Call Love - An Album for Under a Five" sticker Madruaga Eterna (ETERNA 23 boot) "special edition" sticker Chill Out (JAMSLP5) "File Under Ambient" and bar-code sticker Chill Out (JAMSCD5) "File Under Ambient" and bar-code sticker Chill Out (TVT issue - in long box) sticker on long box, but can't remember what it said The White Room (JAMSLP6) ("Includes the hit singles" sticker) The White Room (JAMSCD6) ("Includes the hits singles" sticker) Fuck the Millenium (some editions have a "Not the KLF" sticker on the front of the CD single - what about the vinyl?) But there seem to gaps. Did the "Shag Times" LP/CD ever come with a sticker? What about the "What Time is Love Story?" CD? And foreign issues? And were some issues of the single box-sets available with stickers, and some without? Any help would not only be appreciated, but also interesting. Thanks, John Not Scots, just Scott-ish

Just did a search on KLF at Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000002VMN/qid=1047893563/sr=… Now, could someone maybe explain why they recommend Pet Socks and Clean Underwear below ? Do they know something I should be aware of ? Or is this some sort of cross selling ? Not to that point, but moreso as a way of 1- backing up the discs due to the potential of cd rot of PDO discs, and 2- cleaning up the archives. Taking a quick inventory tonight, I have 15 cds with at least one version of WTIL on them (actually, closer to 20 but I am assuming there's some redundancy there so I knocked a few off), and that's not even taking into account the versions only on vinyl. Point is to get everything grouped together, and also to put the vinyl only tracks on CD. So, I decided to listen to some KLF, which I haven't listen to in a while, while I did some work around the house and couldn't decide what to play. I realized I had never made a compilation of personal faves like I have for most other artists I'm addicted to. Thinking it over, I realized it's almost impossible without being extremely repetitive. For example, I would want the Last Train Gridlock mix on it, but then I would also want the full Lost Continent mix, and then Go to Sleep would be a must have. That's a lot of Last Train. For What Time is Love I'd use the Different Project megamix of that, and the Land of Oz version... that alone is something close to 20 mins. 35 mins of the disc is already used up by two songs. Has anyone else here put together a best of compilation for their own personal enjoyment? I'd be interested to see what you included on it. -paul

I'd like to just make a cd of good stuff - not have to hear five mixes of Kylie when I really want to hear Build a Fire. And you dont want to have to program a playlist every time either. I have made a number of compilation tapes, but these were mostly focused on what I was into at the time, or a way to hear new acquisitions. But that was a few years ago. I guess I'll probably make a two disc set -- best way to spread things out but there will still be a large amount of repetition (heck, I even forgot to include the Acid mix of WTIL which brings that up to 26m or so). I've also been meaning to convert everything into organized CDrs: 2cd set of WTIL mixes, 1987 and related b-sides on one disc, WKTJ and related, disc or two of 3am.... Had it all organized once but deleted the spreadsheet thinking I had a backup. Doesn't Jon Mace's mp3 mix solve all our problems? Or maybe Daniel and Thomas' "Remixed and Remodelled" CD? I thought someone should mention them! John Not html, just plain text
