Have you guys heard of this project? Glen mentioned it in an interview several years back. I think he said it was completed but that his agent told him he couldn't sell it or something to that effect. It is a horror saga I believe. Note that the Starfishers trilogy is being released in a single volume by Night Shade in early 2017; its cheaper to acquire that way than each volume individually.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the fan-theft-manuscript story. (As an aside, one of my tasks after inventing a time machine it to go back and counter-filch that manuscript from the thief.) Coldness just ended so abruptly I suspected a file problem. Further thoughts on A Path to Coldness...

Glen's writing style has always been rather abbreviated. I think it's a product of the genres he rights and the styles in vogue when he started writing. (A lot of mid/late 70s SF reads very similarly.) But Coldness seems to end really abruptly. It's almost like I didn't get the full book. I got the Baen ebook version back when Nightshade was still solvent. It ends with: "Varthlokkur fell asleep before he could ask where, thinking that that old devil always had one more trick. But today they had played a few of their own and had gotten several steps ahead." Is that right?
