Wow...
Yesterday night I finally saw great El.Masada performance on Mezzo. This is
the first time I saw entire John Zorn concert on tv. What I saw before were
only short fragments and highlights from some other J.Z projects. But this
was just great one hour live action from Nancy 2003. Although the soun was
not perfect I made an copy of the performance.
They also showed some footage from the festival de Chantenay- Villedieu when
Zorn was like 30 years old. He was there with Arto, but I'm not sure if they
performed together, cause Zorn was performinf with his mouth pieces and duck
calls, what I think was rather like "Clasic Guide to Strategy" then "Locus
Solus".
Televison in Holland really sucks. I don't know if this is the case in
other countrys but here we don't have even one Really depressing....

Just got this release on Avant..arrived today from dmg...I enjoyed
it,while an odd combination it worked for me...the menu of the day is
hard drum and bass w/ lots of fx and Laswell's bass lines and fill

something Bill would have put out in say 96 or 97...and it seems

Someone was asking about "Hits of RD Burman Vol 2" on
http://store.nehaflix.com/. It's a compilation of music scenes from
Indian movies dating back to at least the 1950s. While not for the faint
of heart, I highly recommend it. The quality isn't always good (video or
audio), but there are some truly incredible pieces. There's a lot of
crap too, but the good stuff easily makes up for it. Besides, it's only
$6.99 so you can't really go wrong.
The new Secret Chiefs 3 "Book of Horizons" has changed my life by the
way.

Somehow, my subscription to this list lapsed, and I've no idea how to re-up,

Anyway, I just accepted a job offer to teach in FL and will be moving out of

ACCEPTANCE OF THE JOB OFFER), Dave Douglas, Dave Brubeck, Wayne Shorter, Dave
Holland, etc. etc. etc. It's the 50th anniversary for Newport Jazz, so they're
pulling out all stops and making it the biggest lineup ever. It kills me to
miss it.

Does anyone know if there is a list of all of the perfomances that will be realeased by Tzadik? I know there is a listing of the perfomances from that month, but I assume they won't release them all.
