A Yelled hELLO to you all. I've no idea what is happening to e-mail I send to the mailing list... some tend to have a delay of 24 hours. But that's not holding me back from telling you that on the FTP server you can find two real vector Yello Logo's. Format: EPS, Illustrator 7. All done by me during a break from work. For those of you who missed out on the address of the server: 195.240.126.124 username yello password: rules Due to bandwidth problems and that it's running on a home-based machine, it can be unreachable at some points during the day. Just keep trying or mail me if you like it to be up at certain periods, I'll see to it. - Rene

I can always will up the crazy times with a nice yello download from your site. Also, the mp3s of You Gotta Say Yes 12" are a good find. I have this record at home, and hadnt heard it in some time as my record player is on the klink. Come to think of it I should probably think about getting another one, since I have about 45 other Yello 12"s that would be nice to transfer to mp3 format. There is my project for the sumer ;) Thanks for the ftp again. I hop eyou enjoyed Bimbo US Demo that I uploaded. Random Tox (Aka Brian)
Hi Brian, ...the Bimbo US Demo! I was waiting for someone to mention it, so I could send out my big Thanks!!! There's a clear difference between the Bimbo version we all know and this demo version. Thus yet another cool document added to the collection. Rene

Hi Shaun, Cool! Very Cool!. But be sure to check the squeeze please video I already have on the ftp server. This is the one that can be downloaded from the Yello Site. It's a about 5 megs and in mono sound and 12fps , quicktime format. Heck.. It could even be the one that was downloadable from the MTV site Ages ago. If they are differnet from what I described then please upload or make them available for me to grab. It's a real addition to our growing collection. Hi Shaun, I remember seeing something on MTV announcing that the video of Yello could be downloaded. I did download it but lost it somehow. I can't recall how many MB's it was. But I do remember it was a poor quality. Even more likely, as most connections to the internet people had were analog phoneline based. So if you can make the 9 Meg version available somewhere I would appreciate that very much!! Due to some stupidness on my side the FTP server stayed offline... sorry. It's up now and ready to deliver and receive. Rene ----- Original Message ----- From: Shaun Turner To: The moon: beautiful. The sun: even more beautiful. Hi, Just trying to connect some lose ends again... When Dieter Meier introduced his Re-Watch Project, there was also an event on a car-show or something. I remember seeing him standing next to a very nicely-designed YelloW car. And I remember something like, that the watch could be snapped of the wirstband and inserted in the steering-wheel of that certain car. After some searching I found two pictures of the YelloW car. Very recognizalbe due to the design of the rear-end where streamlined openings are located. The car is a redisigned Talbot. - However that's all I can find on the subject. On the Re-Watch site I can't find anything about this. Which brings me to another thing with the Re-Watch site. It features a download page where movies can be found about Dieter's Project. However some of the files are broken and I contacted the company about that. No respons. Which is typical I guess. Just like they don't care. Where back to something where Provit is more important than how the product is portrayed/displayed. The same goes for the Official Yello site. The only official thing I can find there is the url itself. pitty. Rene
The car was in fact the "Rinspeed Yello Talbo" Rinspeed is a swiss car conversion manufacturer. They presented the Yello Talbot at the Geneva International Motor Show in 1996. More to see at: www.rinspeed.ch Yours, Georg Rene schrieb:

A small hint to all who are or have been on my ftp server. In the directory EWA, you can find a song called: Massacre Live by EWA. This is a very interesting song, as it is a cover of a welknown hit in Industrial Land. Massacre by Tommy Stumpf. If you know the original, this one might please your brain. And there is more to come. Me and my partner in the EWA projects, are working on 8 different Massacre tracks. All up to date with synths and samplers and software. Rene

I'm still going through all of the files to be sure I have the best sounding and most complete of the duplicates (Another reason the FTP server isn't up yet). Any idea which one it is? If so, I can try to send one to you via e-mail by splitting the attachments up to a reasonable size (1 Meg per message).
