I've tried to find the music in kazaa but the only a couple appears (like Drive/Driven which is the opening track). On this excellent page (www.sunpoint.net/~mapatsik/yello/titles3.html) one can see the whole soundtrack listing and the "mysterious" tracks that I would like to listen to :) Oscar

HellO Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie Oi Oi Oi Paul in Sydney.Oz 35yo I began a passion with YellO in 1983-4 just around 'You Gotta...' Record shops like Red Eye Records, Phantom, central station etc. Oh the memories of buying vinyl. I have been and still am an avid collector. I keep a close eye on EBay and watch the sharks and catch the flies. I have got many a good rare bargain. I still obviously want more. I love reading lists of records etc of other fans-I'm so curious who has all the things I don't ;-) Who wants to swap play lists? Hey Jonas-Have you any idea how may promotional items have been released. And what about items signed by Dieter and Boris. I wonder how many items like this are floating out there waiting for me to get them. Rene-I'll put your mix up now. I think you did well for what you would have been working with. I have been in DJ circles for over 15 years and have also had my fair share of mixing and sampling and laying tracks etc etc, nothing worth posting mind you. I'm sure the rest of the list will enjoy it also. There is another fan mix available-I look for it-By a guy called Leon. Not totally Yello but does have enough to warrant being called a mix. I would sure love to get a go at Yello studio equipment for some video/sound mixing, as I'm sure we all would. Last point of the day- Why are the two boys from Yello not here on the list??????? I'm in Canada - West Coast - Vancouver. I first heard Yello in 1983. A friend owned You've Gotta Say Yes to Another Excess. I inhaled that album and went on exhaling it for years. And then I heard Bananas to the Beat. Not a day has gone by in the last 15 years that I haven't thought of the knuckle beat that starts off that song. I'm also prone to eccentricity, for example: I've been wondering how much of a role Chocolate has played in Dieter's and Boris's creativity over the years.... Hmmm. I've collected everything I've been able to find of Yello, mostly on 12" vinyl, stopping about 7 years ago when Zebra came out. Nothing I've got, though, seems to be extraordinary enough to post on the server :-( Nobody I ever ask knows who Yello is until I mention Oh Yeah, The Secret of My Success, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Then they say... wait for it... "Oh, Yeah... I know them". And only one other friend of mine is a Yello fan. So it's nice to be on a list where everyone knows the same thing and doesn't mind talking about the finer points. - R. My name is Brian, from Ontario Canada, age 30, and my first yello purchase was The Race on cassette in 1988, followed quickly by The New Mix In One Go. My goal is to try and get as many people turned on to yello as i possibly can, and it usually starts like this: Person: Yello? never heard of them. Me: Sure, you have. You've even heard some of their music without knowing it. Person: Really? I doubt it... Me: Have you seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Person: ya.... Me: Remember the scene with the Ferrari? Person: oh yeah... what's the name of that song? Me: "Oh Yeah." ... to which they inevitiably start going "OW OW CHIKA-CKIAAAAH" most of the time they change the subject after a while, but sometimes I get to play other songs they recognize like The Race, and Vicious Games... I even had one guy like them so much he went out and in the span of a month spent several hundred dollars buying the complete back catalog, as was available at the time. That was sweet. Rene I had a quick look this morning on the server but couldn't find your remixes. Do you know what folder they are in? Rene Is this the same version that is labeled as AWA Swing? I have a copy and it's excellent. I have wondered if it was Dieter or Boris themselves. It is the version where in a German accent nearing the end says "Well Ladies and Gentlemen as you know all good things must come to an end......." Is this yours?????? If its not I'll upload it so as all can hear it, and perhaps you could upload your version. I have loaded up the TAG info for all those random oldies. Plus I have ready to upload a rare version of 'Two Worlds' from the 'You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess' UK Cassette. Tag info included and uploaded as an OGG file. I was mistaken about the title of the song... the track is called Andy, and the band is You Know Who... featuring vocals by Deiter.
