Anyone else got a PS3/360 for Christmas out there that wants to share gamer tags? I haven't bought Xbox Live Gold yet, so I don't think I can do anything there, but my PS3 tag is "Darth_Poobah" and my 360 tag is "Darth Yogibear" (the former was taken much to my dismay). Looking for someone to try this online Joust with.
I haven't grabbed Joust yet, but I can. My Xbox Gamertag is Jeff AMN and my PSN tag is jar155. I'm on quite a bit as I review games professionally. There may be times when I'm in a review or in some online matches with other media outlets, developers, or publishers, so if anybody invites me to play and I don't accept, don't take it personally. I always like playing with others, so if I'm free, I'll accept. PS. Anybody that has a 360 needs to get Pac-Man: Championship Edition. It's great! It was designed by Iwatani himself, the original Pac-Man designer. It's very addictive and well worth the price. On Jan 10, 2008 12:47 PM, Pete Ashdown <pashdown@xmission.com> wrote:

Does a 4 rack SGI Onyx2 Reality Monster count as a game system? :-) -- "The Direct3D Graphics Pipeline" -- DirectX 9 draft available for download <http://www.xmission.com/~legalize/book/download/index.html> Legalize Adulthood! <http://blogs.xmission.com/legalize/>
It does if you can load an emulator on it. I got a Wii for my present this year, and the only game that I have that supports online play is Guitar Hero. Does anyone have a recommendation for good Wii games that supports online play? You would think Call of Duty would, but nope. And if anyone wants to battle my fearsome "Slowride on Easy" skillz, I'll setup my online account. Haven't bothered yet, due to aforementioned lack on online games. -- Sean McLachlan Richard wrote:

The Wii has a few fun online games, but it's kinda limited right now. Super Smash Bros. Brawl coming soon is going to be great. There are a lot more coming, the online stuff has just gotten a bit of a slow start. As for games that are fun that are out and online right now, I really like Super Mario Strikers (soccer game) and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (WW2 shooter with fantastic controls). As far as must-have games or games worth checking out, I'd try these: -Super Mario Galaxy (best game of 2007, in my opinion) -Metroid Prime 3: Corruption -Super Paper Mario -Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn -Zak and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure -Geometry Wars: Galaxies (Strong Robotron vibe here) -Wario Ware: Smooth Moves -Elebits -Excite Truck (yeah, it's a spiritual successor to Excite Bike) -Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess -Metal Slug Anthology And of course, the Virtual Console stuff is really, really, good.
