Ceres Vesta images posted

I tried imaging Ceres and Vesta again tonight but they are now too far apart to be seen in a single image. So I put the 8 shots I got of the two in the same FOV into a mosaic and posted it to the SLAS Gallery. Note that the weather during the last 5 images was very poor so I had to shoot those through clouds. http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=5942 Also, while I was at it I moved the shots I got of ESA's Gaia spacecraft back in February to the Gallery as well. http://www.slas.us/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=5945 Both can be enlarged by clicking on them. patrick

As I mentioned on my Facebook page I'm still not sure if I'm dreaming but yesterday I learned NASA is sending me to DC to receive one of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASA_Distinguished_Public_Service_Medal Looking at the list of previous recipients I see names like Sagan, Heinlein and Roddenberry. Many of you on this list who know me know I have a pretty big ego but <taking deep breath> this is a very humbling experience. pw
