I can see two stars easily from my house when the moon is not bright. When I go out to LaVerkin or darker site, I can find the third star 51 Cepheus and get a three star alignment. I'm going to try to improve on this with my JMI-Max computer with the Polar Align function as soon as my DSC encoders arrive. By the way, where did you learn to process your images? I'm still a little bit in the dark regarding image processing. I was thinking of purchasing "The New Astronomy" to shed some light on this subject. Tyler, A great image! Focus and tracking look great. Do you find it harder to polar align the mount in light polluted conditions? I certainly do. You seem to have climbed the learning curve relatively fast.
