The chassis was running a single DSP just fine. Once I added the Quads I now a hiperArc that locks up every couple days. The quads are running analog pots lines so they have the nics installed. I have run many quads in chassis with the hiperarcs, just not in analog mode with pots lines. All the other have the t1 cards. Any one out there have this setup and have it running alright? Or is this just to glommed together that it's never going to work. Hi Jason, There is no 5.4.1 code for the NetServer cards. The last version of code was 3.8.1 or 3.7.24 and there were no further code revisions after that. The NetServer was End-of-Lifed by CommWorks at least 2-3 years ago and they stopped producing code before that. Help with interpreting fault code.

Hello all, this is my first post to the group so if I'm skipping any procedural steps or conventions, I apologize. My boss has asked me to look at some usr-tc gear that we know does not work and try to fix it or determine if it is really dead. Unfortunately I was thrown into the project and my background in usr-tc is a limiting factor. I was hoping people could look at the area code below and give any pointers as to where I should start looking. I'm currently working with a Hiper DSP card and when I boot it up I get the following text from the console (copy/pasted): !!----------> SDL2 for the PPC403 <------------!! __ Enter Download Trigger __ Flash Image Has Valid CRC, Loading Image.... Diagnostic Power-Up Failure Manufacturing Info -> 1AAA13M0 Mode/Env -> 1/0 Fault Code -> 0-5-3-1 Expected Data -> 00000000 Received Data -> 00000800 Text Message -> Data Path Test Failure ---------[end of copy/paste]-------- Unfortunately I couldn't find anything at 3COM's knowledge which seemed relevant. My office does not have any documentation what so ever on our usr-tc equipment. Various searches on Google didn't bring anything up, and searching the list's 17 Megabyte archive file came up empty. Another employee before me had tried to flash the ROM and reflash it (using: HD020019.DMF) but the error remained. Has anyone run into this error before, can what worked for you or was it dead? If not, does anyone have any good resources or links they can suggest I look at for this problem? Thanks. Jon Cloud.

hello, I have a usr total control box with the old Netserver cards. I was wondering if there is a upgrade/update for it. I'm running version 5.4.1 I think. Is their any upgrading I can do? Hiper Arc reboot, NMC Hub LED red

Hello List, I have an interesting problem here, I have two chassis, each with 8 DSP's, 1 ARC, and 1 HiperNMC. I have two spare ARC's, one is 5.2.9 and the other is 5.3.2 If I insert either ARC in either chassis the following will happen: The ARC (viewing via console) will get to "Initializing Flash Device" and pause, then start the "loading Kernel" process over and over, at this point the NMC LED goes red and stays red until I pull the ARC from the chassis. I have a 3rd chassis with just a power supply, no DSP or NMC card in it, if I put either (or both) ARC's in it they will boot fine. Added Span2 and 6 Quads... not playing

Hi Folks, I'm new here. I purchased a used enterprise hub a year ago, ordered a T1 and the hub was pretty much plug-n-play. The time has come to add 6 more quads and bring in another T1. I ordered the T1 with hunt rollover. Qwest says the span is good. showing up and idle. My T1 card says the same. However, when calls come in, and the calls that balance over to the new span the calls just drop. In fact, the modems don't answer. The modems and DS0's are mapped and green in TCM. The numbering looks good. I posted a series of outputs from various show commands. I'm hoping a TC veteran can look them over and make a suggestion.
