Good morning friends! We're looking forward to a GREAT ULCER this Saturday. The weather looks like it's going to be perfect - 90-93 degrees with cloud cover. Do to illness, we find ourselves short 2 people for tomorrow's pre-ULCER work. We are in need of two people who can help us from 9am - 3pm. The job will include lifting and sorting food and supplies. Fitts Park).For a fairly flat ride out South and West. Club Picnic will follow the ride at 12:30. Bring a Salad or Desert. The club will provide the rest. Robin Perkins perk(a)networld.com 486-8140 Saturday Aug 6 09:30 AM Picnic "Short Ride" 22/C-D/4-5/a Approx. 15-20 miles, mostly flat, for those who prefer to sleep in a bit longer. Also a good opportunity to bring your (accompanied) kids 16 and up as long as they are capable of finishing 20 miles in 2 hours. Bring lots of water if it's hot! If we're lucky, the Grand Poobah may accompany us. Take 1st Lehi exit, head down to Main streeet. From there head north to Saratoga Road. Go west and follow road 2.2 miles. (This is by the model airport) We'll ride 14 miles round trip on one of the most beautiful sections of the parkway. Leisurely pace. Cool and shady. Beginer/intermediate ride, starts with 800 foot climb (the price of admision) takes you to fun swoopy singletrack and a decent that will make you feel like a kid! The Canyon Club has been moved to Wednesdays in August. The first ride is August 3rd at 6:00 pm (not 4:00 am as originally listed.) We'll be riding Big Cottonwood - as much or as little as you want. Pray for good weather. Bring arm warmers or a jacket for the descent. A tail light is a good idea.

BBTC Members! Saturday August 6th is the BBTC Club picnic. The picnic will be at Fitts Park at 12:30. There are 3 rides scheduled that morning before the picnic. The rides are listed below and there should be an option for you. The club will provide the main course and drinks. Bring a salad, fruit or desert. There will be great door prizes including gift certificates for Bingham's Cyclery, Gastronomy Restaurants, and the Pearl Isumi Outlet Store. Practice your tire changing skills for the Men's and Women's tire changing competition. (there are some really good prizes) We hope you can join us for this annual club event! Today, I called the race organizers with a few questions about registration. During my conversation with an organizer, I learned that as of today, 950 cyclists had registered for the race.
