[BBTC Ride_calendar] thanks to everyone for making Sat's ride and BBQ a success

Hey, Rob here! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone making Sat a fun day in the saddle. Sherry, I usually loose a pound or two when I weigh in after a ride day, except this time. Your dishes were delicious and most definitely not low fat! Karen thanks for stepping up and leading the 35 miler and kudos on the hummus, it was even better today. It's always great to share a good ride and good food with old and new friends. The only thing missing was more friends and riders. I will look forward to more of us joining in on the next one. Oh, and thanks for everyone hanging out until the last of us returned to join in on the festivities. The next ride and party, we'll stagger the start times so we all finish at the same time. I think this will have to become at least a once a month outing. On another note those that tried the energy drinks, you can contact myself or Craig Jacobsen to purchase them. They come in seven different flavors and have zero sugar and only eight calories. And, all club members receive a ten percent discount on all purchases. Thanks again for a fun day!!! Rob Yuschak

[BBTC Ride_calendar] Update to loops along the East Bench

Hey everyone, I had hoped to post this update earlier but unfortunately time goes faster than me. Tomorrow's ride will feature four loops: 1st - the green course is 14 miles long and is a great ride for novice riders not wanting a lot of climbing. It will meander around Holladay and Millcreek areas with minimal elevation changes. 2nd - the yellow course is 22 miles and offers more of a challenge with more climbing, similar to the Wed night evergreen loop rides. 3rd - the blue course is the core of the loops, its 35 miles and is a great intermediate type ride. We will work our way around and up to the mouth of little cottonwood and then stay high as we ride north to the mouth of Emigration canyon down and then back south to the finish. 4th - the red course will follow the blue course out to 9800 S and then continue south through Draper to south mountain up to Sun Crest and back and then finish following the blue course. After the rides everyone is welcome to spend the rest of the day at the house for a potluck BBQ. I hope to see everyone tomorrow to kick off the labor day weekend!! Rob Yuschak
