Forwarded on behalf of Brooke Merrill mailto:merrellb@arch.utah.edu Hi everyone, I will be meeting with anyone interested to determine routes to be evaluated for the upcoming county bikeways map being compiled by the Salt Lake County Bicycle Advisory Committee http://www.slcbac.org . The meeting will take place this upcoming Monday, Sept. 19, at the Salt Lake Coffee Break (430 E. 300 S. Salt Lake City) from 5 to 7 PM. I hope that those who attend this meeting will be willing to meet again before the Oct. 15^th presentation of the map to the public in order to assess the evaluations and determine the routes to be endorsed by this project. We especially need input from those familiar with the west side of the valley. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the project, Brooke Merrell merrellb(a)arch.utah.edu

Club Members! September 30th brings an end to BBTC's ride calendar year. A big thank you to the many club members that have contributed to the 2005 ride calendar! A new season begins October 1st and mileage and ride leader credits are credited to 2006. October rides can be cool and very beautiful......but we don't have any weekend rides on our schedule yet! The deadline to put rides on the schedule is fast approaching (Thursday September 15th). So please check your schedule and let's get some great fall rides on the club schedule! Also ....anyone interested in organizing club spin classes...... we will include them in our fall and winter schedule. Last year we had some fun evenings with dinner and socials after. For those of you on the list that are looking for the start of tomorrow's Mini me, here are directions: As you are coming into Park City, you will see the Mt Air Cafe on your left. at the next light (Kearns Blvd) take a left. You should also see the Holiday in Yarrow on the other side of the light in front of you as you turn. Continue on Kearns to the next light (Bonanza) and turn Right. I believe the next street on your left is Prospector. You will see an Einstein's Bagel on your left. Turn left on Prospector and got to the parking lot immediately behind the Einstein's (rails to trails trailhead. See you there.

Canyon Riders, Two weeks ago, August 24th, about 10 people came to BBTC Millcreek Canyon Ride. The next day while loading my bike into my car my neighbors sprinklers came on, sprayed into my car, and destroyed the sign-in sheet. Not one name can be read.
