Fehlmann on myspace

Anyone heard the new Fehlmann album, which is up on myspace for a few more days? It's very much in the usual style, but excecuted with a bit more finesse IMO. Well worth a listen. I fear for the new Orb album I must admit. Paterson/Fehlmann/Hughes was the best lineup, as in Orblivion, and I can't see the Orb ever coming up with anything as good again. oh well...

Sorry, but i don't understand at all why he keeps on making that minimalistic techno stuff. I get tyred of that stuff after two songs, but hey that's just me.. I liked his album with "i wanna be a little fishy" on it a lot. Where is that sound gone? Wow, listening closely to Orblivion's "Molten Love" again.. Keeps amazing me.. That's what i loved about the old orb, the polyrythmical thing in there. Nice urban legend though. ;-) For Orblivion, didn't Andy have a big influence there? Too bad he left. Talking about the new album.. Does anyone have any insight on what the sound will be like? I mean, will it sound much like the OkiDoki thing? I realy like the Orb but OkiDoki is sooooo far from what the sound -used- to be like. Sorry for my rant.. Back in the early days of cds, Discwasher was selling little rubber sleeves that fit around the outside edge of a cd. It was supposed to stabilize the cd (extra weight at the edge) so it would play back more faithfully. I don't think you can still buy those. Maybe because they make little to no difference.
