Hey Orbsters! Just got a parcel of Orby joy! I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but I'm savouring the delights of this package - the Transit Kinds tee is the perfect girlie size, and the Orbsessions packaging is like opening a Christmas present - all sparkly with stacks of cards on the inside, and I get suck a kick from the silly little buttons and personalized receipt. After 3rd listening to it: it's kinda good. I like most tracks, and the fact that they are short is good. Of course I knew almost all of them but now they fit into each other nicely. It's more compact than little chaotic B&T. I really like it. I thought if he was at least getting paid, that I didn't agree with putting up a stink.. and last i checked, everything he's done for them was over a decade ago. why would it be any different than uf.off? from a pure musical standpoint though, i'm glad its off. how the hell you gonna take a 40 some minute song and make it fit on that album without compromising the work? the collectors - maya ii ep

I would be amiss if I did not recommend this recent release on Mantis Recordings. Its just a 4 song ep, with the kicker being the last song... a very hard to find Plaid remix of the title track, Maya II. I can't say enough about this album... its a must have for any of you ambient junkies. Does anyone else know anything about The Collectors?
