KW Autobahn original tape

Hello, I bought an original Autobahn tape on Ebay for nearly nothing, just for the fun. I was just listening to it to check, and I found that the autobahn track fades out near the end of the track and continues on the other side of the tape! I can't believe it, how they wheren't able to put a 22 minutes track on a side of a cassette in 1974!

I'm sure they could, however you have an issue of "balance"; do the rest of the tracks of the "Autobahn" album equal (in elapsed time) "Autobahn"? Bartos' video of "I'm the message" (IIRC) has the icon person walking on streets and playing soccer throughout. Since I don't get MTV Europe, I can't assert that's the video you watched. While we're at it, the Communication CD has some memorable moments. I'm bad with titles, but songs 2, 5 and 7 are, IMHO by far the best of the pack. That CD has been in my car since day one. I can't stop listening to it. Good job Karl. Automat, with all due respect, your last comment looks like something taken from the musicnonstop.com newsletter. God bless them, but they hear KW on any band that owns a synthesizer, for crying out loud. Maybe instead of lurking around for KW sound alike, you ought to spend a bit more attention to somebody who deserves a lot of credit to the KW legacy, Mr. Karl Bartos. E

Maybe this is a silly question, but was/is the new Karl Bartos' video on MTV? And what is it like? Does it show icons as its cover does? I say this because the other day I saw a video that wasn't put the title on (or at least I didn't see it), and the music was very Kraftwerkish with a robotic voice on it. DER AUTOMAT

"-unquoted- DER AUTOMAT" You seem to get every synth-related newsletter there is, press releases from every synthetic record company and most well-known indie net shops, and for years have faithfully reported - seemingly - every press quote of any unknown or "cult" bands or debutants who quote Kraftwerk as an inspiration. I was just wondering, do you listen to all this? Do you get all music that claims Kraftwerk influence? If so, I should like to see your record collection once... Record Collector

I have been informed that the October Issue of "Record Collector" has an 18 page article on Kraftwerk. This includes a section on the group, interviews with other groups about their thoughts on Kraftwerk, and a discography. Ohh yes.. there are some pictures too..
