2022 What the F?@k is going on?
Any chance we can get someone to ban whoever it is that’s sending loads of blank messages? Cheers!
I've reported it to list-abuse@studio-nibble.com twice to see if they can do anything about them. I think the list owner/admin is AWOL and is no longer interested/involved in the list which might making changes problematic. ________________________________ From: Ross Jarvis <jarvmeister@gmail.com> Sent: 12 June 2022 18:10 To: klf <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: [KLF] 2022 What the F?@k is going on?
i think this was partly the reason the traffic list dropped in favour of fb :( we probably have cursed it by reusing the list :( i'm just blocking that account and hoping google learns what to do on the plus side - it's still much better than having to use fb On Mon, Jun 13, 2022 at 7:37 PM Inter Ax <interax@hotmail.com> wrote:

I agree, but I don't use any social networking type sites. Call me a luddite if you will, I still prefer this type of interaction than that dopamine hit fuelled nonsense. I'll probably end up joining at some point because I won't be able to hold out any longer. I think I might have tracked down the list owner (Lazlo if you remember him) and have sent him a message via another route to see if he remembers this and can help. Let's see what happens over the next few days. 🙂 ________________________________ From: brendan <brendan.au@gmail.com> Sent: 13 June 2022 11:28 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: [KLF] Re: 2022 What the F?@k is going on?
Appreciated, thank you. On Mon, 13 Jun 2022 at 11:35, Inter Ax <interax@hotmail.com> wrote:

I, too, sent him a message via Discogs, where he was active last month, to see what's up. In the meantime, I got a friend at XMission (the host of the list) to take care of getting the problematic addresses unsubbed. As of June 15th, that has been done, as well as fixing the footer/signature added to all the list posts. Fingers crossed.
Good work Mike! Let’s hope it encourages them to use some other list for testing whatever scripts they were doing. It’s be nice if we had a couple of list admins who are active members - or at least as active as any of us are on this list these days. If you do hear from Lazlo, maybe he would consider adding some sub-admins, for these situations? I’d be happy to log in and boot off a troublesome account when they appear. ..Jai… - - - - -

I tried to reach out to Lazlo too hed answered ages ago when I tried previously then never followed up on the conversation. Xmission support were Ok with the list archive issue that appeared, but yeah really we need a proper moderator or two here. I think Pete Ashdown still is involved with xmission, wonder if I can reach out to him, he might remember me. Both he and Lazlo were on my original KLF/Orb list back in the early 90s before it all went pear-shaped :). Culf. On Fri, 17 Jun 2022, jai nelson via KLF wrote:
