There was only CDr's of this one, I remember that John sent them out freely to the listmembers who wanted them. The snippets are taken from the video "The White Room"(not from the bootlegversion of the soundtrack). There is a part in "Go To Sleep"-snippet where Maxine sings the Chorus, thats can't be found on the OST. The "E-train"-snippets should be at little different that the one one 008R/Chillout (can't remember exactly). Personaly I think they are both taken from the same source: "Go To Sleep:Extended", and not related to E-train. Ulrik

When it came out "Deep Shit" and "Lovers Side Extended" was very special. Track 10 is from an Australian version of either "Who killed the Jams" or "Shag Times" (havent heard it anywhere else). Track 17 is the Japanese version from "Mu", whiched is pitched down a little. There was a short description of each track in the cover. Ulrik

Someone on the list a few years ago put together a set of dvds which included Stadium House and Waiting and so on. These were sourced from the VHS I believe, but I guess depends on your equipment, ripping from the DVD might be cleaner than from a VHS that's been sitting on a shelf all these years? I've made a rip encoded to h.264/mp4. I don't know how it compares to other rips but I find that encoding to h.264 usually gives better quality than mpeg2 although I might have compressed this one a little bit hard. I'm not sure if I would have gained much with a higher bitrate though. It's encoded with x264 708x408 @ 1000Kbps /Hans AARON Smith skrev 2013-02-04 19:15:

How do you expect to get a HD output from a low-res, lossy source? On Tue, Feb 5th, 2013 at 12:33 PM, Mark Rolfe <Theritesofmu@aol.com> wrote:

I guess there's always the chance that someone comes across the original film that was cut and used to master the VHS? Anyone know what they filmed those videos with? I'm guessing it was film and not digital, but it would be possible to get a HD digital version from the original film wouldn't it? On 5 Feb 2013, at 01:52, Chris <mute@tpg.com.au> wrote:

Some equipment is seen on This is not what KLF is a about feature film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JftzAMCEpA And also some equipment is shown on Making of documentary of J&A video with Tammy Wynette and America. Looks quite professional to me. But chances to get master reel are virtually zero. And then of course you would need pro equipment to convert those to something digital. -- anttil.
