How rare is JAMSCLP1?

The whole thing with the rare cds got me thinking, how rare is the cassette version of 1987? I think I may have posted about it two years ago but don't exactly remember. I picked it up off some random website going off nothing but the description that it indeed was a cassette version of 1987 with a catalogue number of JAMSCLP1 for 10UKP and it turns out that it's what it was. Since then I don't think I've EVER see it pop up anywhere, is it really that rare? - Loki Ambrodious von Esling

I have two, tho. i picked up the first one as it seemed to me the best way to get a crackle free copy of 1987 to put on CD (and it sounds fab, too). Then a few months ago I came across one dirt cheap (something like $6) and I couldn't believe the price was right. I took a risk and it was actually a genuine 1987. And still shrinkwrapped! My intention was to sell it on ebay and make ten times that but I can't find myself wanting to part with it. And $60 just doesn't sound like that much money to me right now. -paul

Rarest CD?

I can't help noticing that "What Time is Love Story" and "Space" CDs seem to be changing in price from week to week on ebay, sometimes for £100 and sometimes for £35. With that in mind, I wondered what was actually the rarest CD album by the KLF and related? Which was had the most limited number of copies? Shag Times; Shag Times (Swiss); History of the JAMs; History of the JAMs (long box); History of the JAMs (Possum); Eternity - Project One; What Time is Love Story; Chill Out (UK); Chill Out (JAMSCD890005); Chill Out (long box TVT); Space; Mu; Waiting for the Rights of Mu (grey cover) Just wondered ... I have one too, so that's five. France has another rarity, apart from "No More Tears" and "Tardis" CD singles ... it's a CDs of "AWTIL" which contains a 7:30 (ish) mix of the track which is unique to that release (it's on "Dance Pool" records, and is a five-track EP which also contains the Pure Trance Original and Live at Trancentral mixes and the two "America No Mores"). How easy is the 12" single of this to find? I got a copy (with a sleeve image of a question mark, a clock, the word "is" and a love heart all on a pink background) in a tiny record shop in Forfar (a small town north of Dundee) back in 1993. The shop normally sold traditional Scottish music but had a side line in dance music - it was bizarre to find it there! Sadly, I sold it a few years later, thinking at the time "oh, I have all these tracks elsewhere, so I don't need it ..." D'oh!
