No...actually it's got nothing to with netiquette (what a terribly bourgeois concept invented when the web was full of fifty something white haired white males with Viagramobiles) and everything to do with usability. In Yahoo's list form it's much easier to navigate. But then I'm a big subscriber to Nielsen's usability theories. The other thing is that because UNIX can distinguish between upper and lower case, it's a quick way to make use of scripting. But don't ask me, I'm only the pianoroll. Everybody (or the vast majority) is kept busy with 9-5 jobs and then going home watching reality shows or football matches and drinking beer or tea. That's it. Modern life is rubbish. nice one mate, thats all it need be talk. I mean say 1 person gets an email to do with whats really happening and they tell 1 more person, it grows and grows till more and more people are willing to sit there going 'yeah lets kick all the brown people out of england' or whatever it all helps. Though everyone here may say yeah i've read this book or that book, so what? If you get an email stating the truth about 911 for example, that will hopefully be in the forefront of their mind for that day and so it goes. Hi all. Have to thank everybody (named and nameless) who's humoured my recent obsession with the X$X Enigma. I've had a group up and running for a while now at: http://groups.yahoo.com/xdollarx and it's all been taking off mainly thanks to contibutions from people here who have searched their hard drives and given links. I'm pretty busy with imminent college work (final year) and wasn't planning to do a public announcement here as such but more recent developments are very interesting, particularly a couple of flyers/postcards that have emerged. See http://uk.geocities.com/blystery/PROMO.jpg Thanks to anonymous contributor of large scans of Melody Maker articles from 93/94 relating to the X$X/KLF linkages. I've also loads of links in the links section of the group including sections of THE BUILDING late nineties. One request is that if you join the group (you need to to see archives, links, files etc), that you would be so kind as to use CAPS for the subject line if you're posting contributions. I'm sure there's a lot of interest for KLF afficianados on the group and a lot of the people already there (from multiverse.org and bookcrossing sites among others) are pretty uninformed on matters KLF so you really can make a contribution! Anybody who feels they could moderate on the group, please contact me as my time will be very limited as we head toward xmas. Respect!
