I know this sounds stupid, but does anyone know how B&J (or whoever) manage to extract just the vocals from a certain track. Of course, it'd be easy if there's an accapella version of the track available but, for example, Wanda Dee's "To The Bone" is chock full of goodies used by The KLF, only there's a backing beat running along behind them. I appreciate your apology, but you're wrong just because someone may be new to this particular list doesn't mean they don't have a grasp of basic "netiquette" when the phrase "kurt cobain territory" was used, it wasn't necessarily a "flame" (but certainly could be taken as such) - my question was what exactly was meant by that phrase in relation to the song "go to sleep" (for example, heroin? murder/suicide? evil groupie? as I've stated before) and instead of an answer, I received a FULL-FLEDGED flame, no question about it: "...attention seeker till the day he died (especially the day he died)" that's not even close to answering the question, that's a full-on flame and if you think defending myself from a completely unwarranted flame is being a "dickhead", you're wrong PLUS, he STILL never answered the question, inferring that his original statement WAS actually a flame in the first place AND, to deflect attention from that original flame, claimed he was going to quit the list and cancel the "festival", AND attacked me off the list! all because he couldn't (wouldn't) answer the perfectly legitimate question about what exactly "kurt cobain territory" meant in the first place THAT is being a "dickhead", and if you can't recognize it, you might be one too "...over and out"

You are clearly a worshipper of Cobain and took personal offense at someones jab at him so you went on a rampage. You may not have noticed it but you're the only one carrying on about the whole thing and won't let it drop. Not everyone thought Cobain was the deity you seem to think and to most people his death was just a news story worthy of a brief glance then a turning of the page to check the football scores, if even that. So, please, give it up. 3am eternal bassline

Hi It was reported that the guns of mu mix of 3am had a bassline from Jonathon Richmans Egyptian Reggae. We'll I have uploaded that particular track to RM Stringers FTP, and it's obvious from the beginning the similarities between the tracks. I'm still compiling my list of original KLF samples, and am starting to look for the more obsolete ones now, such as the origins of 'are you ready' and 'here we go' on 3am, if anyone has any ideas whether that is an original vocal or a sample can they let me know. Also, still trying to track those strings on LTTT - I know I heard them in a classical record once on Classic FM - but never since. Regards Andrew
