Thanks to everyone who attended Tuesday's Water Strategy Advisory Committee in which lobbyists unveiled their secret lobbying plan to fund Lake Powell Pipeline and the Bear River Water Grab. Although the public was not allowed to comment or see the secret plan, much of it was paid for with public tax dollars. The Utah Rivers Council stepped up and demanded the public be allowed to speak. Instead, the lobbyists turned off the lights and played a video while the public shouted their concerns about this shady process run by special interests. The lobbyists on this legislative committee are the very same people who lobbied for the Lake Powell Pipeline and the Bear River Water Grab.
