The spelling that appeared in the FOTD was 'blivot'. The definitions in the dictionary are for the spelling 'blivet'. Though both spellings are pronounced the same, I wonder whether they really can be considered the same word. The FOTD for Dec 22 will appear on schedule. Jim M.

Uh, uh! Disagree. Note the first line: Hypertext Webster Gateway <<blivot>> Then notice the definition: blivet /bliv'*t/ n. Apparently Webster considers alternative spellings are still a "blivot" :-) Now I'm going to shut up about these pesky things! John W.
