Another Hybrid Zoom into the ORB - (Trip Fantastique) fractal called The Atomic Mandel.

Albrecht says that The Atomic Mandel is an example of a new kind of fractal which is uses the MFR14-2 formula with a new Warp effect applied to all participating formulas. "Another Hybrid Zoom into the ORB - (Trip Fantastique) fractal, called The Atomic Mandel." I like this one much more than his previous fractal! This is a nice "Study in Blue, With Gold and Red Accents." To me, it really does have the flavor of an atomic nucleus surrounded by orbiting electrons. I hope I can get Fractint going again soon so I can zoom into some of the "blue electrons" in the outermost shell! Hybrid Zoom into The WonderWheel (The ORB)

Albrecht has created a new type of fractal with his Multifrac formula he calls "hybrid". I don't understand what the change he has made is, but he's pleased that his attempt has produced results. He says: "Before I started had great doubts if it would work. But it did, a hybrid version of almost every multifractal. Got the source image from the 57508-43 The Orb (Trip fantastique) a motd (Multifractal Of The Day) image with full warp facility, every frm at each iteration. There are many more zooms." Albrecht's image makes me feel like I'm looking inside a psychedelic watch. I suspect that many Fractint patrons have run across the phrase, "Out of the frying pan and into the fire." Enclosed is a link to the "frying pan". Albrecht's gold frying pan seems to be cooking a small, uniquely shaped, blue "omelet". He says that the series of zooms into his image, 'Tempest" will follow later. Thank you, Jonathan. Hal, you have read it. He can only guess. Sry I had waited for something definite. But : I get stable and predictable results and I collect new informations. I think that´s enough to go on, like in the early stages of my multifractal experiments. Only one thing must be clear : What I call "fog" is N O T a lack of precision. Just the opposite: The new "Hybrid Fractales" have the same same precision and deep zooming power like my other multifractal creations. Agreed? Albrecht

Jonathan, if you have read my recent mails you have seen what´´s going on. After 6 or more maximum outzooms to a mandel image another mandelimage turns on with similar mandel contures and filled inside with many fully colored details. Can you say what´´s going on or mabe supply reliiable details. A multiplication factor, maybe. Also the environment is some kind of fog with drops that can be zoomed in and sometimes contain surprising images. Thanks for your assistance! Albrecht

Albrecht says, "Here is 'The Mandel in military uniform' and its PAR." I've added his multifractal_12 (MFR) formula to his formula file. His Mandeloid (1280 x 1024) figure is indeed in uniform, although it appears that they have an over-abundance of "medals" pinned on them... https://bit.ly/50205-GE-GIF Since individual medals seem to be different from one another, I'd enjoy a closer look at some of those medals. Albrecht's "4x Symmetrical Mandel" and its PAR file are now available

Here's Albrecht's "4x Symmetrical Mandel" made with his multifractal_12 (MFR) formula: My comments on, and links to, his image and PAR file: The fractal's outer red ring reminds me of a crater wall. The shading of the inside of the crater wall makes the floor of the crater appear deeper than the top of the crater rim. Additional, smaller diameter, interior red rings' floors appear even deeper. The final, black Mandeloid figure in the center must be very deep indeed...
