Living in NYC, I have heard a lot about Mr. Rux over the years. Based on what I had heard, i picked up one of his music albums, and let me tell you, it sucked. HARD. Really really awful. I was so disappointed. But maybe his spoken word stuff is good. I'm sure it is. It would have to be. Speaking of spoken word artists, I did get Saul Williams' release "Amethyst Rock Star", and that is some heavy shit. Fiercely intelligent words over killer beats and soundscapes. And the man can sing too.
