Hi, Although I listened to some of Tobim's stuff years ago, I couldn't even recognize it now. So I thought that you guys probably can recommend a good album of his for starters. Also, did anybody listen to the new Hemophiliac on Tzadik? My copy is on its way right now but I'm very curious anyway. I've heard several bootlegs and also the limited edition double album and I find the quality to be very variable (of course quite understandably, it's ad hoc improv after all) Thanks a lot in advance. The first one I heard was "Permutations" and it grabbed me. then I got "Supermodified" for a gift & that's a bit more laid back. his latest one, is heaps 'dancey' apparently.... I also like both of them but I certainly prefer 'supermodified'. I find it more filmic, darker, with a lot of variation and the sampling is just perfect. I find it one of the best albums in its genre.
