Yep that's what I meant to say. Can't wait till we get going on Ornette again. Opinions just don't change when you say someone sucks, as fun as it may be. But I can offer some real life experience of Ken Vandermark that might change negative opinions if it helps anyone to get out and actually see him. His featured soloing with the Tentet on Brotzmann's "Images" in concert was beautiful (he shines most of the time here, but I thought this was particularly great), AALY "Trio" is a hurricane live, and there was a splinter group off the Tentet with him I saw that was very good- totally improvised as well.
