As with all it depends on what you have now If you dig Nashville, the Willies is "Bill Ploped In a Bluesgrass Band" the Intercontinentals is ostinato based compositional stuctures. (Phillip Glass"y" ) LOTS of great sounds So, Which one to get first???????? I think Interconinetals is better listening.. (oh man ... you made me commit) Like most of Bill's recordings it sounds stupidly simple at first but once you dig in its f-ing magical Bill Frisell has taken expressionistic jazz to it's highest level.
