Has anybody heard KK Nulls duo project with the former Fushitsusha drummer Seijiro Murayama called ANP? _________________________________________________________________ Check out the great features of the new MSN 9 Dial-up, with the MSN Dial-up Accelerator. http://click.atdmt.com/AVE/go/onm00200361ave/direct/01/
Do you mean Absolute Null Punkt (A.N.P.), the "improv rock" band? I used to own a copy of 'Ultrasonic Action' (CD, NUX D3, 1993) which I think was a re-issue of the 1986 LP with some extra tracks from 'Killsonic Action' (but I'm probably wrong about that). When it came to Null's duo/improvisational work, I really prefer his collaboration with Jim O'Rourke, 'New Kind of Water'. It's been a long time since I listened to A.N.P. It didn't really hold my interest quite like Fushitsusha or YBO2 or Zeni Geva. I'm not a big fan of Null's solo work. If you are, you probably might like the A.N.P. a lot. Looking at Null's website, it seems A.N.P. last played in 2003 with Kosakai (Incapacitants) which would probably be an interesting trio. http://www.kknull.com --dk On Wed, 11 Feb 2004, Arthur Gadney wrote:
