Hello Ricardo, musical wise, and depending on your taste, check out http://www.echtzeitmusik.de and http://www.ausland-berlin.de the echtzeitmusik webpage is run by mainly 3-4 venues, that show improvised music. The range can be from bleebs to pop, but also performances and video. There are many very good musicians and groups in berlin, and the places listed at the above website is where they play often. especially in ausland (lychener straÃe 60 in prenzlauer berg). Not to miss is the group phosphor, they play at the 11th of june. It's an ensemble consisting out of: burhard beins, alessandro bosetti, axel dörner, robin hayward, anette krebs, andrea neumann, michael renkel, ignaz schick you'll find the dates at the echtzeitmusik website or at http://www.space-place.org And they are really good, if you like silence music. It's all improvised, but very near to composed music. Also at the 7th of june, there will be concerts at laborsonor, this is at: KuLe (22h) AuguststraÃe 10 Berlin (Mitte) You will find me behind the bar. The schedule is not quite ready, but there is one group playing that I have big expectations about. A good but small place for improvised music is also at: http://www.fiib.org/ Very often you will find people like Wolfgang Fuchs playing there. Shows are every Thursday starting at 21h. Unfortunatley you just missed the amplify 2004 in berlin, which was really very good. But I think that Yoshihide Otomo will play once more, not sure about the dates though. If you are more into electronic pop, there are some good places to go to: http://www.neueberlinerinitiative.de It's at schönhauser allee 157 in berlin prenzlauer berg (near U-Bahn Schönhauser Allee) and right around the corner where i live. but often pretty young audience however. Also check out: http://kliklak.net/ http://www.filesharing.de/ http://bgnm.de/ http://www.podewil.de/ http://www.exploratorium-berlin.de Hope that gives you something to go on. Unfortunately, some of the sites are only in german (why?). Arthur
