i bought this this past weekend on 180g vinyl. terrific sound and an impressive lineup for sure. i haven't fully digested it yet. it starts out very slowly and then proceeeds to build to one of those states where at first it sounds like everybody's just blowin' their brains out. kinda exhilarating. i'd love to hear anybody else's reactions to this. mark

It's a really big bite, and being a full-time dad and the husband of someone who doesn't really want to hear a free-jazz orchestra, it's not something I get to hear very much. It never drags, and the noisy bits are just SCREAMING, especially the side w/ Silva whanging away on the electric sarod.
