Can't think of too many albums on the spot. Of his ambient stuff I do like a lot the DIVINATION series, often heavy, dark ambient dub. I also have 2 CDs by AUTOMATON that I like which are quite ambient and quite atmospheric. The OSCILLATIONS CDs I somehow remember not particularily liking.... The "Hallucination Engine" is I think the top of Material CDs, "seven souls" is also excellent (the original, NOT a more recent re-mix called "the road to the western lands"-i think). "The third power" by Material is also very good. The earlier Material stuff sounds quite dated to me; flirting with disco in "one down" and power improck-jazz in "temporary music" (if i recall correctly). I find both ARCANA CDs absolutely essential; "the last wave" and "arc of the testimony". Of his remixes, I would strongly recommend only the Cuban ones, which are quite fine, esp. the double "Havana moods". Hope it helps, thats what i could think of right now. manolis
