Hey, I was wondering what transportation Zorn and the other musicians use when they're on (a European) tour. They use autocars or an airplane or trains or...? And the equipment? Anyone who knows? Jan
Hi, I was at the concert in Mannheim last night and the show was delayed a half an hour as they were apparently stuck in traffic most of the day. They made it anyway from Burghausen, where they had played the night before, to Mannheim (450 km). The concert was great regardless and if they hadn't made the announcement I'd never have noticed they were probably exhausted. Thanks to you all in the list for letting me know about the concert. By the way, is it normal that John Zorn plays large parts of the concert with his back to the audience? I thought it was great for the communication between the musicians, but maybe it would be interepreted by the audience sometimes that he isn't so interested in them??? Curious if it was only last night, or 'normal'? Ãscar.
