I really like this album. Efrén is right in that it does have a dose of prog in the writing, but I am a big dork for that king of stuff. Overall it is a combination of klezmer, prog, traditional sephardic melodies, and surf. I think it is a pretty solid album. Matt
Hi, Didn't Madof perform Masada Guitars along with Marc Ribot during the 50th anniversary shows? I'd really like to know how that sounded. I've come to the conclusion that, in general terms, I don't like rock-klezmer crossovers, and as you say, Rashanim are a perfect example of that kind of blend. That's probably the reason why I also have a serious issue with "Idalah-Abal" on the Electric Masada album! Best, Efrén del Valle --- TheSquares@aol.com escribió: > I really like this album.
