In my experience people who make sweeping statements like that generally don't know a lot about Sharon, Lebanon, post-Oslo etc. But to get more OT .... when Elliot Sharp played here in Jerusalem a few years ago with Rony Somekh (at the Zionist Confederation House, ironically) I spoke to him for a bit and he seemed fond of being here - I wonder if his visit softened his anti-Israel attitudes (which he bases on disagreement with nationalism and religion generally). - Tal G.
