dang, i've been going through a spell of way too much work...not enough fun. all the while my zorn digests are piling up. so i've missed all of the 'cd copying fun'. very frustrating. here's a question: i'm at this moment listening to a cd called "Homegoing" by the Skip Heller Quartet. is it 'illegal copying' to burn a cd of this so that i can listen to it in my car? i actually have neither the means nor the interest to do this....just curious...since a lot of the 'combatants' in this discussion seemed to think that the mere act of making the copy is illegal. mark -- Mark Saleski - marks@foliage.com | http://www.foliage.com/~marks "Music is a beautiful opiate, if you don't take it too seriously." - Henry Miller

I'd say burn three and listen to it in some other people's cars as well. On the other hand, I'd better ask first if you're enjoying the record. If no, burn three for people you wish would stop calling you. sh
