I'm interested to know if anyone has soome opinions on guitarist Gary Smith's recordings, particularly recent (?) outings with the groups Mass and Glass Cage, in duo with Japanese saxophonist Masayoshi Urabe, with percussionist Joe Gallivan, and solo. I haven't heard a thing by him, though I have heard vague comparisons with Derek Bailey and noise, and I have enjoyed the record of a group that's collaborated with him elsewhere, improv/noise savages Aufgehoben No Process. Any help would be appreciated. ----s
