I know some of the people on the list like the Ex. I only own a few discs mainly with Tom Cora. And although not interested at first, I finally picked up a copy of the "In the Fishtank" disc with Tortoise for further listening. I also picked up a copy of "Instant". Does anyone have info about this release? It has some great guests Han, Ab, Walter etc. Comments? Was it only available through them? What other releases would some of you suggest, although probably not available.<< (Andrew)

I don't have any info on "Instant" other than what's written on the cd. I like it a lot and it was (is?) available through Cadence (where I got mine). I also really like Ex Orkest's " Een Rondje Holland" (A Dutch Trip) which is the Ex as part of a 20 piece ensemble. It has a lot of the ICP crowd plus others such as Joost Buis, Jaap Blonk, and Michael Vatcher. A definite must if you have any interest in these musicians. It looks like the Ex is rereleasing a whole slew of old titles and and vergemusic.com is carrying them. They're good to deal with even though a lot of things have to be backordered.
