Por favor Alguien podria comentarme algo sobre el mes de Zorn en el Tonic? Gracias, Manuel _________________________________________________________________ ¿Estás buscando un auto nuevo? http://www.yupimsn.com/autos/
After years of waiting, I finally received the box set today. Simply amazing. I will take awhile to digest the volume of songs and number of alternate takes (that don't sound repetitive, surprisingly). I'll let the critique of the music up to those more qualified. The packaging is up to usual Columbia standards and of similar style to the Bitches Brew Box. It has a copper metal binding inside a simple black box with Miles on the front (same picture from original cover). The liner notes are uniformly black and white, augmented by a few color pictures (most pictures are black and white, though). The CDs are standard reflective with white writing and geometric designs on the one side. All the CDs look the same except for the large number, which may make them easy to confuse (unlike the distinctly colored BB discs). The fidelity on the original recording is simply amazing: the highs are amazingly crisp and you can actually hear the bass! It doesn't sound like they messed with the mix, just made the sound crisper, as a plus. The single disc version will definitely worth it for the fidelity and whatever bonus tracks are included. All in all, they took their time and made it worth it. Zach

It's an interesting change to get a CD review that most describes what it looks like. (I know, you were leaving the review of the music to others.) For what it's worth, when I hold the emptied Bitches Brew Box up to my ear it sounds like the ocean :-)
the box is very expensive here in Poland (approx. 85 euros), and I plan to make my sister by it for me in Paris, where it shouldbe avail for about 60 euros. Any suggestions as for a good place to look for a cheap copy? Marcin

I am not in France now, but you should try la Fnac -- they usually have new items with 20% off, and they have lots of stores; there is one in each major city and many in Paris. On their website it is listed at 61.65 euros, also it says it is not available before October 20th, maybe it isn't out in France yet? Julien
